Two police officers transported to hospital following crash on Majura Parkway

Two police officers have been transported to hospital following a crash in Majura this morning.

At about 6.15am, police were called to a single vehicle collision in the southbound lanes of the Majura Parkway past the Tambreet Street overpass.

While police were attending that collision, a second vehicle collided with the stationary police vehicle.

Two police officers were treated on scene by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics and transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the driver of the second vehicle was uninjured.

Both lanes of the road were closed for approximately 90 minutes with traffic diverted onto the shoulder until the scene was cleared.
