Electric scooter believed to be the cause of a house fire in Flynn this morning

An electric scooter is believed to be the cause of a house fire in Flynn this morning.

Just after 10am ACT Fire and rescue responded to reports of a house fire on Nulsen Circuit.

Upon arrival firefighters contained fire to the room of origin saving the rest of the home.

An ACT ESA spokesperson said there were no reported injuries as a result of the fire.

ACT Policing were also in attendance.
