Boy transported to hospital following collision in Wannniassa

A boy has been transported to hospital after he was involved in a collision with a vehicle in Wanniassa this afternoon.

At approximately 3.40pm ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a push bike accident at the intersection of Sternberg Crescent and Wheeler Crescent.

A high school aged boy was treated at the scene by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics and transported to hospital in a stable condition.

ACT Policing breath tested the driver of the motor vehicle at the scene and he returned a negative result.

The road was blocked for approximately 30 minutes while emergency services were in attendance.
