Home destroyed by fire in Waramanga
A home in Waramanga has been all but leveled following a fire early Friday morning.
Just after midnight, ACT Fire & Rescue responded to reports of a structure fire in Yambina Crescent.
Nearby residents of the complex woke to find flames ripping through the unit and called emergency services.

Six fire trucks worked to contain the fire, which was brought under control and extinguished in approximately an hour.
The fire was treated as suspicious and the cause of the fire remains unknown.
An ACT Policing spokesperson said: Police attended and residents of other units in the complex were temporarily evacuated as a precaution while ACT Fire & Rescue firefighters extinguished the blaze.
The scene was handed to ACT Policing for investigation as a matter of routine, but the fire is no longer being treated as suspicious.
