Firefighters extinguish house fire in Page

Firefighters have extinguished a house fire in page this morning.

At approximately 9.40am ACT Fire and Rescue responded to reports of a house fire on Hilllebrand Street.

Upon arrival firefighters found a working fire in the front of a single level home.

Firefighters quickly brought the fire under control.

The fire is believed to have started by a heater left unattended and the home suffered significant damage.

There were no reported injuries.
