Two men seriously injured following brawl in Queanbeyan

Two men have been seriosuly injured following a brawl in Queanbeyan this afternoon.

At about 1.10pm, NSW Police and NSW Ambulance Service responded to reports of a brawl in Crawford Street.

On arrival officers were advised that two men – believed to be aged in their 20s – had been taken to Queanbeyan Hospital with serious injuries.

Detectives attached to Monaro Police District have established a crime scene and commenced an investigation.

A NSW Police spokesperson said that early indications suggest the injured men were stabbed.

It is not known whether other weapons were involved.
