Man rescued by firefighters following Capital Hill crash

A man has been rescued from his vehicle following a motor vehicle crash at Capital Hill.

Just after 7.30pm ACT Emergency Services responded to a three-car motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Kings Avenue and State Circle.

ACT Ambulance Service paramedics worked for nearly an hour to stabilise the patient in his car.

He was then transported to hospital in a stable condition after being freed by firefighters.

It's believed the man suffered a medical episode leading up to the crash.

Two other vehicles were damaged and debris was spread across the intersection, the drivers of those vehicles did not require transport to hospital.

ACT Policing was also in attendance.
