Man airlifted to hospital following paragliding accident north of Canberra
A man has been airlifted to hospital following a paragliding accident north of Canberra this afternoon.
At approximately 2pm NSW and ACT Emergency Services responded to Nanima Road, Springrange after reports a paraglider had hit the ground at speed.
The patient was treated at the scene by ACT and NSW Ambulance Service paramedics and airlifted to The Canberra Hospital with significant injuries.
The cause of the accident is not yet known.
