Firefighters extinguish house fire in Weetangera
Firefighters have extinguished a house fire in Weetangera this evening.
Just before 8pm ACT Fire and Rescue responded to reports of a house fire on Line Place.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the roof space in the home and prevent any further damage.
The fire is believed to have started in or near the chimney.
All occupants safely evacuated from the house and there were no reported injuries.
Firefighters have responded to a number of house fires this week alone, with some structures now unable to be lived in.
