Boy rescued from Tuggeranong Hill overnight
A boy has been transported to hospital after he was rescued in Calwell last night.
At approximately 6.30pm ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of an injured person down a steep section of the Tuggeranong Hill Nature Reserve.
It's believed the young male was out for a walk in the Nature Reserve just before sunset calling for help after becoming injured down a steep embankment.
Firefighters from the Remote Area Rescue team responded to the location and used ropes and a stretcher to help rescue the boy and bring him up approximately 40 meters to a waiting 4WD ambulance on the trail.
The 4WD Ambulance was then brought to a waiting ambulance where the boy was then transported to Hospital in a stable condition.
ACT Policing were also in attendance.
