Driver rescued after serious car crash in Watson, ACT

A person has been transported to hospital following a crash in Watson this afternoon.

Just before 4.30pm ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a motor vehicle accident on the Federal Highway.

One person was carried from a vehicle which had traveled approximately 50 meters through a fence.

The driver of that vehicle was then transported to hospital.

ACT Policing's Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team were in attendance into the evening to investigate the cause of the crash.
