Mother and baby transported to hospital following crash in Kaleen overnight

 A female has had to be rescued following a bus and 2 car collision in Bruce overnight.

Just after 9pm ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Ginninderra drive and Gungahlin Drive.

Firefighters worked to free a woman trapped in the passenger seat of a vehicle by removing the door.

The woman and her baby were assessed on scene by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics and transported to hospital in a stable condition.

ACT Policing were in attendance and are investigating the cause of the crash.

The road was closed Westbound for more than an hour.
