Truck rolls over after crash in Watson, ACT

A number of sheep have been injured and killed when a truck rolled in Watson yesterday.

An ACT Policing spokesperson said ACT policing attended an incident where a truck carrying sheep had tipped over about 6pm near the Antil Street roundabout on the Federal Highway.

The Federal Highway was closed southbound at the roundabout for approximately 10 minutes from about 8.10pm and the incident was cleared by 9.45pm.

There were no reports of injuries to the driver of the truck.

Investigations are underway into the cause of the crash.
