Driver rescued following crash on Majura Parkway
The driver of a vehicle has been rescued following a crash in Majura this afternoon.
At about 12.30pm, ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a single vehicle crash on the Majura Parkway.
Firefighters used hydraulic tools to remove the door from the driver’s side of the vehicle, the man inside was then assisted from the vehicle.
He was then carried by firefighters and paramedics to a waiting ambulance at the roadside approximately 100 meters from the crash site.
The man was assessed further by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics and transported to hospital in a stable condition.
A dog inside the vehicle appeared unharmed and was left in the care of police officers.
ACT Policing is investigating the cause of the crash.
