Police investigate the death of missing man after he was found on Tuggeranong Parkway

ACT Policing are investigating the death of a man whose body was found on the side of the Tuggeranong Parkway this morning.

At about 10.30am, a passer-by located the body of a man on the Tuggeranong parkway just south of the Cotter Road.

Police believe the man to be that of missing person Shane Watson.

Shane went missing in late March with police appealing to the public several times throughout April.

Forensic investigators remained on the scene throughout the day examining the scene for evidence.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information that could assist police is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or on the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
