Motorcyclist seriously injured following collision with car in Forde

A motorcyclist has been seriously injured following a collision with a car in Forde this afternoon.

At about 2.30pm ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a collision at the intersection of Horsepark Drive and Kathrine Avenue.

The rider of the motorbike was treated at the scene by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics and transported to hospital with serious injuries.

The road was closed for several hours while emergency services remained in attendance.
