Bus driver escapes serious injury following crash on Federal Highway

A bus driver has escaped serious injury following a crash on the Federal Highway this afternoon.

Just before 1pm, NSW Emergency Services responded to reports of a bus crash on the Federal Highway with reports of persons trapped.

Upon arrival they located a bus off the road and through a fence, the driver had managed to get out of the bus.

Firefighters checked over the bus and cooled the engine to prevent a grass fire.

There were no other passengers on board.

NSW Police were in attendance and are investigating the crash.
