Two transported to hospital following crash in Braddon
One person has been rescued and another has been transported to hospital following a two-car crash in Braddon this morning.
At about 8am, ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a motor vehicle crash on Mort Street.
Upon arrival they located a two-car crash with one person trapped.
Firefighters used hydraulic tools to open up the side of the car before the patient was carried to a waiting stretcher, she was then transported to hospital in a stable condition.
An occupant from the other vehicle was also assessed by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics and transported to hospital in a stable condition.
Mort street was closed for over an hour while emergency services were in attendance.
