Police investigate armed robbery in Charnwood

Police are searching for the offenders of a violent robbery in Canberra's west this evening.

An ACT Policing spokesperson has said, two men entered a tobacco store in Charnwood armed with an axe threatening a staff member at about 7.30pm.

They then fled on foot with numerous items.

Investigations are ongoing into the incident and the two men are yet to be identified.
