Motorcyclist seriously injured following crash on Northbourne Avenue

A motorcyclist has been seriously injured following a crash in Braddon this morning.

At about 11am, ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a collision between a car and motorcycle on Northbourne Avenue.

The rider was treated on scene by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics and transported to hospital in a serious condition.

Two northbound lanes on Northbourne Avenue were closed while emergency services were at the scene.

ACT Policing’s Major Collision Team attended the scene and have commenced an investigation into the crash.
