One person rescued following rollover in Hackett

One person has been rescued following a rollover in Hackett last night.

At about 5.30pm, ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a motor vehicle crash with one person trapped on Stanley Street.

Emergency services arrived to find a car on its side with one person trapped inside.

Firefighters worked to stabilise the vehicle and began the process to remove the roof to access the patient inside.

The patient was extricated from the vehicle about 45 minutes later and was assessed on scene by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics before being transported to hospital in a stable condition.

ACT Policing were also in attendance and are investigating the crash.
