A 26-year-old Calwell man will face the ACT Magistrates Court today following an intentional collision in Monash yesterday (Wednesday, 26 August 2020).

The collision occurred after the man approached a female, a former work colleague of the man, at an Isabella Plains work place while in the possession of a large knife. The female and a work colleague left in two vehicles.

Power is out to parts of Acton, Canberra Central, City, Turner tonight following a crash on Black Mountain Drive.

Emergency Services responded to the scene just before 7pm this evening.

A 36-year-old Belconnen man is due to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court this morning on seven charges following an overnight incident which sparked a lockdown in Civic.

ACT Policing was called to an incident in Civic around 11.15pm Monday (24 August 2020).

One person has been transported to hospital following a crash on Mt Ainslie this afternoon.

At about 1.15pm ACT Emergency services were called to a single vehicle collision on Mount Ainslie Drive.

Firefighters have extinguished a house fire in Isabella Plains this evening.

At approximately 5.20pm ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a house fire on Babinda Place.
