Female critical after being pulled from burning home in Melba.

A female occupant of a home in Melba has been rescued by firefighters following a fire inside the premises.

At about 6.45am ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a house fire on Orchard Place

Firefighters rescued one person from the house before they were treated by ACT AMbulance Service Paramedics and transported to hospital in a critical condition.

ACT Policing were also in attendance.
