Truck driver seriously injured following crash on Erindale Drive

The driver of a truck has been seriously injured following a crash in Canberra's south last night.
At about 5.25pm, ACT Emergency Services were called to a three-vehicle collision on Erindale Drive near the intersection with Long Gully Road.
An ACT Policing spokesperson said a van heading north allegedly crossed the median strip and collided with a truck and another vehicle heading south, with the truck ending up on its side following the collision.
The driver of the truck was trapped for a short period and was extracted from the cabin by ACT Fire & Rescue, that person was then assessed by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics and transported to hospital in a serious condition.
The drivers of the others two vehicles also received minor injuries in the collision with one of those persons requiring transport to hospital.
