Emergency services respond to nearly a dozen motor vehicle crashes across Canberra

ACT Emergency services have responded to nearly a dozen motor vehicle crashes across Canberra today and are urging drivers to take care on wet roads.

At about 3.30pm ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a car into a tree on the Barton Highway at Hall.

One person was assessed at the scene by ACT Ambulance Service Paramedics and transported to hospital in a stable condition.

An ACT Emergency Services Agency spokesperson said ACT Fire and Rescue had responded to at least 10 motor vehicle crashes across the ACT today as of 5pm.

If you’re out on the roads, drive to the conditions including slowing down and leaving a greater distance between you and the car in front.

Under no circumstances should anyone attempt to drive through large bodies of water.
