Firefighters extinguish a house fire in Scullin

Firefighters have extinguished a house fire in Scullin today.

At approximately 12pm ACT Fire and Rescue responded to reports of a house fire on Kauper Street.

Firefighters quickly contained the fire to a single room and the roof space preventing further damage to the home.

ACT Ambulance Service attended the scene, but no one required any treatment or transport to hospital.

The rest of the home sustained smoke and water damage.

ACT Policing were also in attendance.
