Driver escapes serious injury following Barton Highway collision

The driver of a Mazda sedan has escaped serious injury following a crash in Crace this afternoon.

At approximately 12.15pm ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Gundaroo Drive and the Barton Highway.

An ACT Emergency Services Agency Spokesperson said ACT Ambulance attended and assessed a number of people at the scene but no one required transport to hospital.

Traffic was backed up in a number of directions until the scene was cleared.

ACT Policing were in attendance and are investigating the collision.
