Male rescued following collision in Fyshwick overnight
A man has been rescued following a serious crash in Fyshwick overnight.
Just after 1.30am ACT Emergency services responded to reports of a motor vehicle crash with persons trapped on Canberra Avenue
ACT Fire and Rescue assisted in the removal of a patient with the jaws of life before ACT Ambulance Service transported him to hospital in a stable condition.
It's believed the vehicle collided with another approximately 150m south of the roundabout of Canberra Avenue, Wentworth Avenue and Sturt Avenue, continuing along colliding with trees and coming to rest in the middle of the roundabout.
The occupants of the other vehicle were not seriously injured.
ACT Policing were also in attendance and are investigating the crash.
