Utility crashes into Gowrie home damaging a veranda
A utility has narrowly missed the walls of a home in Gowrie last night damaging a veranda.
At approximately 7.40pm ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a motor vehicle crash on Sadlier Street.
Upon arrival they located a vehicle in the front yard of a home with a number of support posts to a veranda damaged.
Firefighters used acrow props to stabilise the structure and removed the vehicle from underneath the building to make the area safe.
An ACT Emergency Services spokesperson said no persons were injured as a result of the incident.
ACT Policing were also in attendance and are investigating the cause of the incident.
