Police investigate crash on Northbourne Avenue overnight
Police are investigating whether alcohol was a factor in a crash in Lyneham overnight.
Just after midnight ACT Emergency Services responded to a single vehicle collision in which a white Ford Ranger had flipped on Northbourne Avenue.
The two people in the vehicle were assessed for their injuries at the scene by ACT Ambulance Service Paramedics.
An ACT Policing spokesperson said the driver, a 19-year-old Kaleen man, returned a positive reading to alcohol in a roadside breath test before he was conveyed to hospital by ambulance for further assessment of his injuries.
Police are awaiting the results of blood alcohol tests.
