Man rescued following rollover on Tuggeranong Parkway overnight

A man has been rescued from his vehicle following a crash in Canberra's south overnight.

At approximately 1am ACT Emergency Services responded to the Tuggeranong Parkway north of the Sulwood Drive intersection.

Upon arrival emergency services located a vehicle on its side in lane 2 of the Northbound lanes with a man trapped inside.

Firefighters used hydraulic tools to remove the roof of the vehicle and gain access to the patient.

ACT Ambulance Service Paramedics treated the man for a suspected arm injury and he was transported to hospital in a stable condition.

The road was closed northbound for more than an hour until the scene was cleared.
