Rural home destroyed by fire in Gundaroo

Fire has ripped through a home in Gundaroo this morning.

At about 9.45am ACT and NSW emergency services responded to reports of a house well alight on Shingle Hill Way.

Upon arrival firefighters found the home fully involved with fire with partial structure collapse.

Firefighters initially had to stay back from the fire due to the asbestos risk.

Firefighters from NSW RFS, NSW Fire and Rescue and ACT Fire and rescue attended the scene.

NSW Police and NSW Ambulance Service were also in attendance.

The cause of the fire is under investigation

There were no reports of injuries.
