Disqualified driver arrested following crash in Hawker

A disqualified driver has been arrested following a crash in Hawker yesterday.

At about 2.15pm ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a motor vehicle crash at the roundabout of Kingsford Smith Drive and Belconnen Way.

ACT Fire & Rescue assisted in the extrication of one person who was trapped in a vehicle.

ACT Ambulance Service paramedics assessed several persons at the scene.

An ACT Policing spokesperson said a man was taken into custody at the scene for disqualified driving

The road was partially obstructed while emergency services were in attendance.
