Car narrowly misses home in Franklin, ACT

A car has narrowly missed a Gungahlin home overnight when the driver allegedly lost control and smashed through a brick wall coming within meters of residents sleeping inside.

Just before 2am ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a motor vehicle accident in the suburb of Franklin.

The driver of the vehicle was questioned by police and transported for mandatory tests.

ACT Fire and Rescue made the area safe and ensured there were no fuel or oil leaks.

There were no reported injuries.
