Motorcyclist seriously injured following crash in Holder

The rider of a motorbike has been seriously injured following a crash in Holder this afternoon.

At about 4.30pm, ACT Emergency Services responded to crash between a motorcycle and a car at the intersection of Streeton Drive and Unwin Street.

The rider of the motorcycle was treated on scene by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics and transported to hospital with serious injuries.

Streeton Drive was closed southbound for about an hour while emergency services were in attendance.

The cause of the crash is being investigated by ACT Policing.
