A 46-year-old man has died following a motorbike crash near the Cotter Dam this afternoon.

At about 2pm, ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a single vehicle collision involving a motorbike on Brindabella Road, Coree this afternoon.

Emergency services treated the 46-year-old man at the scene before he was transported to the Canberra Hospital where sadly despite their best efforts, he died soon after.

ACT Road Policing’s Major Collision Team is investigating the circumstances of the collision, and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
