Police launch investigation after two cars allegedly set alight in Lyneham

Firefighters have extinguished two car fires in Lyneham overnight.

At about 1.30am, ACT Fire and Rescue responded to reports of multiple vehicles alight in a carport on Fernyhough Crescent in Lyneham.

ACT Fire and Rescue quickly extinguished the blaze, and the fire has been deemed suspicious.

ACT Policing attended the scene and have commenced an investigation into the incident.

At this time no arrests have been made.
