Two school students seriously injured after stolen car crashes in Griffith

Two school students have been seriously injured after they were hit by a car in Griffith this morning.
At about 9am, reports say a car was stolen and allegedly "hit a number of cars", it then continued on and collided with two students outside St Edmund's College in Griffith
The driver of the car did not stop and continued along Canberra Avenue for several hundred metres before crashing outside St Christopher's Cathedral in Manuka.
ACT Ambulance Service paramedics treated two people at the scene, they were both taken to hospital with severe injuries.
Police have said the alleged driver is in custody.
A significant amount of police remain on scene at both locations and police are asking people to avoid the area.
