Firefighters battle large shed fire north of Canberra
Firefighters have contained a large shed fire North of Canberra this afternoon.
Just before 12pm, NSW Emergency Services responded to reports of a structure fire on Bidges Road, Sutton.
Upon arrival, they located a large shed on fire with multiple pieces of machinery burning inside.
10 trucks responded to the scene from Fire Rescue NSW and NSW Rural Fire Service.
The fire was contained just after 3pm.
Firefighters were able to save the house and prevent the fire from running into the long grass, however, most of the shed and its contents were destroyed.
Emergency services are expected to remain on scene well into the night ensuring the fire is extinguished.
NSW Police and NSW Ambulance Service were also in attendance.
There were no reports of injuries.
