Driver rescued following rollover on Canberra Avenue

A driver has been rescued following a rollover in Symonston overnight.

Just after 9pm, ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a motor vehicle crash on Canberra Avenue.

Firefighters worked to extricate the driver from the vehicle by removing the doors and the passenger seat.

ACT Ambulance Service paramedics then treated the driver and transported them to hospital.

The road was closed Westbound for several hours while the scene was made safe.

ACT Policing are investigating the cause of the crash.
