Home destroyed by fire in Casey
A home has been destroyed following a fire in Casey this afternoon.
Just before 3pm, ACT Fire and Rescue responded to a house fire on Boyer Street.
Upon arrival firefighters found a home well alight with fire through the roof threatening nearby properties.
Firefighters quickly got to work protecting nearby homes while one person was assessed by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics.
Two dogs were also rescued from the home and did not appear to be harmed.
The cause of the fire is unknown and the incident has been handed over to ACT Policing for further investigations.
