Man seriously injured following stabbing in Karabar
A man has sustained serious injuries after he was stabbed in Karabar this afternoon.
At about 4.40pm, NSW Police and NSW Ambulance Service paramedics responded to a home on Donald Road, Karabar following reports of a stabbing.
A NSW Police Spokesperson said, Police have been told a 38-year-old man was stabbed by another man who was armed with scissors, before the armed man fled the scene.
The injured man was treated at the scene for a laceration to his right ear and taken to The Canberra Hospital (TCH), where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Police have received no other reports of injury.
A crime scene has been established at the location and investigations into the incident continue.
