Crime scene established following armed robbery in Franklin

One person is in custody following an alleged armed robbery at a bottle shop in Franklin this afternoon.

Just after 2pm ACT Policing responded to reports of a robbery on Manning Clarke Crescent.

Police swarmed the area quickly and were able to locate and arrest one person in relation to the incident.

A crime scene was established at the location with police seen collecting evidence and taking photographs.

Police have been unable to confirm at this time if there is anyone else outstanding at this time.

Investigations remain ongoing.
