Over 100 evacuated from ACT Law Courts following bomb threat

Update: Police have searched the area and nothing suspicous has been found, the area has been reopened.

Earlier: Over one hundred people have been evacuated from the law courts this morning following reports of a bomb threat.

At about 10.30am, the law courts and a nearby constructions site were evacuated. 

The AFP Bomb Response Team is at the scene along with several specialist police units.

The police operation is ongoing and is expected to continue for some time.

Members of the public are urged to avoid the area.
