A 23-year-old Evatt man will face court following a robbery at a business in Evatt on Friday.

At about 1.15pm police allege the man, demanded cash from a staff member while armed with a knife before he jumped the counter and opened the till fleeing on foot with a sum of cash.

One person has been transported to hospital after multiple vehicles were involved in collisions in Franklin this afternoon.

Just after 2pm ACT Emergency services responded to reports of a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Flemington Road and Nullarbor Avenue and nearby on Christina Stead Street.

ACT Policing are investigating a brazen daylight robbery in Evatt this afternoon.

At about 1.15pm ACT Policing responded to reports of an alleged theft inside a bakery at the Evatt Shops.
